The pro-Trump network Newsmax cut off the microphone of MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell on Tuesday after he began reinforcing false conspiracy theories about the 2020 election.
On Monday, Twitter permanently banned the account belonging to MyPillow after Lindell used it to try to circumvent his own earlier ban on the platform.
During the Newsmax interview, Lindell began saying that he was “canceled” because he had evidence of mismanagement in the election.
‘Well, the first mine was taken down because we have all the election fraud with these Dominion machines. We proved 100%, and when they took it down, Lindell began before the anchor, Bob Sellers, cut him off.

“Mike, you’re talking about machines that we at Newsmax could not confirm any of those allegations. We just want to let people know that there is nothing material we have seen. And let me read something to you,” Sellers said. when he looked down to read from a statement.
“Although there was clear evidence of some cases of electoral fraud and irregularities in the election, the election results were certified in each state, and Newsmax accepts the results as legal and final,” the anchor said. “The courts also support the view.”
While Sellers read out the statement, Lindell intervened and accused the network of ‘suppressing’ the story. Sellers then tried to lead the conversation to a discussion on ‘cancel culture’ and asked Lindell if he hoped his Twitter ban would be temporary rather than permanent.
But Lindell has turned back to the air of unfounded conspiracy theories claiming that Dominion Voting Systems teamed up with Democrats to illegally switch votes from Donald Trump to Joe Biden in the November election.
The claim was widely rejected and led to both Dominion and its rival election technology company Smartmatic suing or threatening legal media networks and prominent conspirators of Trump over allegations of libel. Amid the legal threats, Newsmax issued a lengthy explanation in December, acknowledging that it had “no evidence” of the foreign claims.
When Lindell raised the allegations again during Tuesday’s segment, Sellers cut him the midrange and asked his producers to end the segment.
“OK, Mike, can I ask our producers – can we please get out of here?” Sellers said. “I do not want to continue on this.”
He then got up from his seat and looked as if he was walking off the set.
