Hold a Monday night LaMelo Ball.
The Charlotte Hornets rookie team guard tied team records, had incredible assistants and scored a season-high seven tries in the Hornets’ 119-94 victory over the Houston Rockets. The effort also helped slow down the Rockets, who have won four of their last five double-digit games.
‘Walked on the track. No warm-up, nothing, ‘Ball said in an interview on NBA TV. “Was still cool.”
According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Ball is the third player, 19 years or younger, to score multiple games of 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists, joining LeBron James and Luka Doncic. Pretty good company.
Ball finishes with 24 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds and does so in a variety of fun ways.
