The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild turned four years old last week, but that doesn’t mean fans of the game are almost done finding new secrets.
A recently discovered bug called ‘Collision Overload’ has been discovered, enabling players to go underwater just as well wherever they want, as well as to avoid all enemy attacks. It works by making Link’s detection of collisions disappear, which means Guardians, Lynels and the like simply can’t deal with their attacks; on the other hand, you can not damage them either.
Unfortunately, pulling off the bug is not easy. As explained by Gaming Reinvented in the video below, you will need a number of multishot traps and Shock Arrows to get started, and then you will need to follow the steps very carefully. There are weapon design tricks to perform, and you have to throw these weapons into water hundreds of times before the error takes full effect. We told you it’s complicated …
Once you have done that, however, you can pose for cool social media posts like this. Lynelle is nothing, right?
We’ve come across a lot of bugs like this over the last few months, so feel free to check out the following if you want more. In the meantime, let us know if you’ve ever tried something like that in the game with a comment below.
