New York Knicks interested in CJ McCollum

As the New York Knicks continue to rebuild under the new leadership of Tom Thibodeau, they want to improve their roster in various ways, and according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News, one potential target they have been watching is CJ McCollum of Portland Trail Blazers. Despite not being injured, McCollum is still attracting attention.

The Knicks have been linked in various reports to other potential trade targets, including Zach LaVine in Chicago, Victor Oladipo in Houston and Lonzo Ball in New Orleans. According to a source, they are also monitoring Portland’s CJ McCollum, who is off a broken foot and still guaranteed about $ 100 million three years after this season.

The Blazers (18-10) have played well since McCollum’s injury, with Gary Trent Jr. replacing the shooting guard. But it is unclear whether Portland is willing to trade with McCollum.

The Knicks are reportedly also interested in trying to get Bradley Beal out of Washington, but Beal, who is dedicated to the struggling Wizards, is unlikely to move.
