New Year’s Eve 2021: How to Watch the Ball Fall Live Online or on TV from NYC Times Square

You will not see millions of people accumulating in Times Square tonight – thanks to coronavirus – but as they say, the program must continue.

The new year of 2021 will enter with a ball fall in Times Square in New York, the first since 1907 without the public attending. Instead of cheering crowds and confetti, the giant glittering sphere and the big countdown will be broadcast live online and via TV.

The Times Square Alliance and Countdown Entertainment are working together for a commercial free webcast and TV pool supply of the ballfall. The head of the event is singer Andra Day, who will perform her single Rise Up.

There are also live performances by Gloria Gaynor, Pitbull, Anitta, Jennifer Lopez, Billy Porter, Cyndi Lauper, Jimmie Allen, Machine Gun Kelly, The Waffle Crew and USO Show Troupe. The host is Jonathan Bennett of ‘Mean Girls’ and ‘The Christmas House’ of Hallmark Holiday.

Events begin with the Ball Raising at 18:00 EST (17:00 CST) on December 30, 2020 and end at 12:15 EST (23:15 CST) on January 1, 2021. The program is broadcast live on various websites, including TimesSquareNYC .org, NewYearsEve.nyc, Livestream.com/2021 and TimesSquareBall.net.

The Ballfall will also be broadcast on CNN, Fox, NBC, TBS and many other networks. You can also watch fubo or Hulu.
