Happy New Year!

New Year’s Day 2021 is a federal holiday, meaning government services and offices are closed. However, some businesses remain open. Here’s a look at what’s open and what’s closed. As always, look forward to confirming the schedule at your favorite place:

Federal offices – Closed

State, county and city offices – Closed

Banks – Closed

ABC stores in Alabama – Closed

Financial markets – Closed

Post Offices – Closed. There will be no mail delivery on January 1st.

Restaurant – Most are open. Check with your favorite place.

Walmart – Oop

Target – Open

CVS – Open

Walgreens – Open

Garbage collection– No rubbish collection. Consult your provider for holiday schedule

Publix – Open

Kroger – Open

Aldi – Closed

Costco – Closed

Merchant Joe’s – Closed
