If you’ve been living under a rock, you may not have heard of Warzone getting a new map coming soon. And according to what we hear, it’s going to end our Verdansk adventures forever.
It looks like we have a date for Verdansk to see some changes. A new Warzone card is on the way and combatants can enjoy it in season 2 if new claims are correct.
News leaks appear indicating the end of the iconic Warzone map. And this is not the first time we have heard that Verdansk will be removed in Warzone Season 2.
When’s the new Warzone map coming out?
It seems that the new map of Warzone is coming soon, after a year of Verdansk is the only place to use the full kingdom of the battle royally.
Of course we had Rebirth Island in Warzone with the launch of Black Ops Cold War, but it did not live up to the expectations of the community. Now an official full-scale Warzone map is finally on its way.
But it looks like we’ll be saying goodbye to Verdansk to make way for the new arena. This could probably be due to the insane file size of Warzone – adding another card could be too much for the limited hard drive space of future generations.
A few days ago, big leak ModernWarzone tweeted the date ’11 March ‘. Those who played Warzone when it appeared might know that gamers could fall into Verdansk for the first time on March 10, 2020.
The release date of the new card has been further teased by fellow gamer WarzoneNewz. This report promises the “end” of Verdansk, which begins on March 11.
According to the account, this is not a confirmed date, but it is a likely day on which the ‘End’ event will fall.
What’s the end of the Warzone event?
But what exactly is the final event for Warzone, and what will it look like?
So far we know that there is a large Nova 6 consignment on its way to Verdansk in Warzone. And rumors suggest that we may see a storm cause the ship to crash and destroy part of the map.
This is where the new Warzone mechanical leaks are likely to come into play. And the Warzone bunkers may even open their second doors soon as part of the event.
But many people believe that the end of Verdansk will come at the hands of a nuclear warhead, and that the map will be irreparably destroyed. From there we can play on a ruined Verdansk map or probably move to a new place.
We know there’s a good chance the new Warzone map will take place in the Fireteam areas of Black Ops Cold War.
