New Super Nintendo World Commercial Exhibitions Mario Kart Ride

With the calendar now carried over to 2021, Super Nintendo World will be officially launched at Universal Studios in Japan this year. Before the park opens within a few months, however, Nintendo gives prospective visitors another taste of what they can expect in a new ad for the place.

Noted in a new ad, Nintendo has teased a new look at the biggest ride that Super Nintendo World will apparently offer outside the gate. The ride is around Nintendo’s iconic racing franchise Mario Kart and will allow parkgoers to enter a real kart and zoom in on a virtual racetrack. You can view the new ad mentioned above via the tweet below.

What is shown in this video, of course, is not what the actual Mario Kart ride itself looks like. If that happened then it would be pretty trippy. The kart itself that appears in this video apparently looks exactly like the one that fans will be able to jump on in Super Nintendo World, so there it is.

In addition to this Mario Kart ride, Super Nintendo World will boast a bunch of other surprises for which longtime Nintendo fans will definitely get a chance. Not only is the entire park filled with beloved Mario iconography, but those who visit can also earn virtual gold coins, participate in various activities and eat food that reflects what you can find in the Mushroom Kingdom. All in all, it looks like it would be quite nice.

Super Nintendo World will finally open in Universal Studios Japan later this year on February 4, 2021. Although it is the first place in the world, the same experience will come down to Universal Parks in the United States. . To stay abreast of future developments, you can continue to follow our coverage of the park here.
