New reports reveal the date, gifts and colors of the OnePlus 9 5G Series

While OnePlus is trying its best to … keep an eye on something about the company’s next high-end device, which cryptically refers to ‘something new on the horizon’ while buzzing for a big announcement event later this month, the world’s most trusted sweets and tipsters will continue to do what they do best.

Evan Blass, who is not only one of the most prolific sources of inside information on unreleased devices like the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, but also quite possibly the most enduring voice in the mobile technology leak business is today ready to answer one of our last questions about the mentioned phones.

True wireless earbuds for (almost) everyone

We’re talking about a question that many prospective buyers may not have even thought about. Specifically, what kind of gifts can be pre-ordered with the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro when the two 5G-enabled smartphones will finally be available.

According to Blass, who is almost never wrong about this kind of thing, early adopters of both models will be eligible to receive free wireless earbuds during their fast-approaching pre-order period. Because the two high-end mobile devices are obviously not created equal, the “regular” version should have some “normal” value of $ 50 OnePlus Buds Z, with Pro units qualifying for slightly more expensive and weaker Buds Z Steven Harrington Editions, typically cost $ 60 on their own.
It is interesting that the more affordable OnePlus 9R device and the company’s first smartwatch is not expected to be offered free of charge with special advance bookings as they are indeed debuting with the OP 9 and 9 Pro. This suggests that there is a chance (albeit slim) that we will not see all four of these devices later this month.

By the way, the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro 5G are tipped to pre-order on March 23, although their official announcement and delivery dates have not yet been implemented.

Beautiful colors everywhere (especially on Verizon)

Meanwhile, it a separate source claims that he dug up all the color options of the different 9 and 9 Pro models in the pipeline T-Mobile and Verizon will intriguingly introduce different flavors of the smaller and slightly lower-end device.

Namely, it looks like Big Red will get exclusive rights to “Gloss black” and “Gloss gradient purple” OnePlus 9 colors, and Magenta will have to make do with two of the three colors in which the open model will be sold on the outside.

The OnePlus 9 Pro is on its way to T-Mo in a single “Morning Mist” paint job, according to this information recently unearthed, and is also adding “Stellar Black” and “Forest Green” colors for unabridged sales.
With almost all the major specifications and features announced over the past few months, all that remains to be confirmed is the official pricing structure of the (extensive) OnePlus 9 family. Presumably powered by a Snapdragon 690 processor (rather than the high-end 865 silicone rumored at some point), the OnePlus 9R 5G, formerly known as the 9E and 9 Lite, can start as low as $ 400 with a 6.5-inch 90Hz screen and a 5,000 mAh battery, among others.
The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro 5G are naturally expected to share a modern Snapdragon 888 SoC and be able to follow in the footsteps of last year’s 8 and 8 Pro with starting prices of around $ 750 and $ 900 respectively. Of course, there is nothing yet not set in stone … apart from the 6.5- and 6.7-inch screens of these bad boys, respectively, as well as their triple and four-rear camera systems.
