Nintendo Co., Ltd. today unveiled a brand new Twitter account that will keep fans informed of the company’s business and financial news.
You can find the account and follow at @NintendoCoLtd if you are interested; it seems to have been set up primarily for a Japanese audience, although a welcome tweet was translated into English:
“We have opened this Twitter account to deliver Nintendo Co., Ltd.’s corporate and investor relations news. Financial announcements and other corporate focused information will be shared on this account. Please note that we will not respond to messages or inquiries . “
The next major release from Nintendo will be with us in early February; at that time each year, the company shares its nine-month earnings and provides updates on its business strategy and results for the period in question. This information is not usually shared on any social media, but maybe Nintendo is planning to change it in the future?
