In a new report on the Nintendo Switch Pro, Nintendo fans are worried about Nintendo’s intentions for the console and what its release could mean for those on the standard Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch Lite. Depending on which report you read, Nintendo will release the Nintendo Switch Pro or the Super Nintendo Switch, as it is sometimes called, sometime later this year or early next year. So far, Nintendo has not validated any of these reports with any kind of confirmation or even a hint at a new, more powerful model of the best-selling console.
That said, it sounds like the console is more of a technical leap than a review. According to the latest report from a credible range, the console will have a larger screen and be able to have 4K games. If this sounds like a pretty bump, it’s because it is, but it can cost a fortune for those who do not upgrade.
According to prominent Nintendo insider “NateDrake”, who was one of the first to transfer the upgraded console and its features, games will be made for the Nintendo Switch Pro that will not be made available on the basic Switch and Switch Lite .
“There will be some select exclusives, especially from third-party partners,” the insider said. “It may not be a large number, but I know of at least one.”
Unfortunately, that’s all there is to it. There are no further details or details, and although they suggest that it will not be a major concern for Switch players, there is enough here to worry a lot that they will miss games. Although the number may be limited at launch, you would expect it to grow. And that, of course, is to some extent inevitable, but the Switch is only four years old and the Switch Lite is even newer. In other words, it would be a pretty unforgivable turnaround to expect Switch owners to upgrade to play every game that comes to the ecosystem.
