A new Naughty Dog tease excited PlayStation and PS5 gamers, and it gave Unknown fans hope that Unknown 5 may finally be on the horizon. Take to Twitter, Naughty Co-President, and creator of The last of us, Neil Druckmann, teased that the team has ‘different cool things’ that they “can not wait to share.” Of course, there is no direct reference to Unknown or any other Naughty Dog IP, but the fact that the team has multiple projects in the works gives Nathan Drake fans hope that the sweet treasure hunter can return.
We know that Naughty Dog is working on the multiplayer of The Last of Us Part 2, but that’s all we know it’s working on. Can it work Unknown 5? Yup. Can it work The Last of Us Part 3? Yup. Can it work on a new IP or even a revival of Jak en Daxter? Sure, but so far none of this is indicated.

Unfortunately, it does not sound like Druckmann and Naughty Dog will soon share any of these ‘several cool things’. If I were a gambler, I would say they’re working on a new IP and something lighter, but that’s just the bet I would make in Vegas. At the moment, I have not heard a glimpse of what Naughty Dog is cooking.
