New Mexico reports 8 new deaths, 222 additional COVID-19 cases

  • A man in his 50s from Doña Ana province. The individual was admitted to the hospital.
  • A man in his 60s from the province of Doña Ana. The person was admitted to the hospital and had underlying conditions.
  • A man in his 70s from the province of Doña Ana. The individual was admitted to the hospital and had underlying conditions.
  • A man in his 80s from the province of Doña Ana. The person was admitted to the hospital and had underlying conditions.
  • A man in his 90s from the province of Doña Ana. The individual was admitted to the hospital.
  • A woman in her 70s from the province of Rio Arriba. The person was admitted to the hospital and had underlying conditions.
  • A man in his 40s from San Juan County. The individual was admitted to the hospital.

The number of deaths of New Mexico residents associated with COVID-19 is now 3,996.

In addition to the deaths, the state reported 222 additional COVID-19 cases. As of Wednesday, New Mexico has reported a total of 194,378 cases.

  • 3 new businesses in Cibola County
  • 2 new businesses in Colfax County
  • 1 new case in Curry County
  • 20 new businesses in Doña Ana Province
  • 5 New Businesses in Eddy County
  • 4 new businesses in Grant County
  • 1 new case in Lea County
  • 3 New Businesses in Lincoln County
  • 2 new businesses in Los Alamos County
  • 4 new businesses in McKinley County
  • 2 new businesses in Otero County
  • 7 new businesses in Rio Arriba County
  • 2 new businesses in Roosevelt County
  • 17 new businesses in Sandoval County
  • 25 new businesses in San Juan County
  • 14 new businesses in Santa Fe County
  • 2 new businesses in Sierra County
  • 21 new businesses in Socorro County
  • 5 new businesses in Taos County
  • 1 new case in Torrance County
  • 2 new businesses in Valencia County
  • 1 new case among inmates of the correction of the New Mexico in the imprisonment of New Mexico in Santa Fe County

The state reports that 114 individuals are currently being hospitalized for COVID-19.
