The number of deaths of New Mexico residents associated with COVID-19 is now 2,502.

In addition to the deaths, the state reported 1,286 additional COVID-19 cases. As of Friday, New Mexico has reported a total of 144,142 cases.

According to KOB 4, there was a positive result of 9.6% on the tests that were analyzed in the state’s report on Friday.

The state reports that 791 people are currently being treated in hospital for COVID-19. The number may include individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 outside the state but were admitted to New Mexico.

As of Friday, there are 66,638 COVID-19 cases repaired by the New Mexico Department of Health.
