New Mexico reports 12 new deaths, 281 additional COVID-19 cases

  • A man in his 70s from Bernalillo County. The individual had underlying conditions.
  • A man in his 70s from Eddy County. The individual was admitted to the hospital and had underlying conditions.
  • A man in his 70s from McKinley County. The individual was admitted to the hospital.
  • A man in his 80s from McKinley County. The individual was admitted to the hospital and had underlying conditions.
  • A woman in her 60s from Otero County. The individual was admitted to the hospital and had underlying conditions.
  • A man in his 70s from Sandoval province. The individual had underlying conditions.
  • A man in his 80s from Sandoval County. The individual was admitted to the hospital and had underlying conditions.
  • A man in his thirties from San Juan County. The individual was admitted to the hospital and had underlying conditions.
  • A woman in her 40s from Valencia County. The individual was admitted to the hospital.
  • A man in his 50s from Lea County. The individual was admitted to the hospital and had underlying conditions.

The number of deaths of New Mexico residents associated with COVID-19 is now 3,562.

In addition to the deaths, the state reported 281 additional COVID-19 cases. As of Wednesday, New Mexico has reported a total of 181,332 cases.

  • 8 new businesses in Otero County

  • 21 new businesses in Sandoval County
  • 22 new businesses in San Juan County
  • 1 new case in San Miguel County
  • 10 New Businesses in Santa Fe County

  • 1 new case among individuals being held by federal agencies in the Cibola County Correctional Center
  • 1 new case among inmates in the Department of Corrections in New Mexico at the Correctional Facility in Lea County

According to KOB 4, there was a 2.4% positive result from the tests analyzed in the state’s report on Wednesday.

The state reports that 280 individuals are currently being admitted to New Mexico for COVID-19.

As of Wednesday, there are 125,064 cases of COVID-19 repaired by the Department of Health in New Mexico.
