New Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC Update Excites Fans

A new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC update is excited about fans of the game on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC and Google Stadiums. The promising update comes behind the backlash from fans over the microtransactions of the game, and this setback has not only the amount of microtransactions in the game, but how it was added and enhanced before the game released the real DLC. That said, while Ubisoft was silent about Valhalla s’n DLC, that’s changed recently.

Ubisoft reiterated during its recent earnings call with investors that it is committed to contributing to the general Assassin’s Creed games via DLC. In fact, during the call, Ubisoft fans teased it Valhalla will have both a “stronger and longer program after launch.”

Unfortunately, it ends here. Not only has Ubisoft refused to disclose any details about the DLC, but there is currently no word on when more details will be shared.

That said, if Valhalla will actually have a “stronger and longer program after launch” as Ubisoft says, that would mean it will have a minimum of two extensions because that’s what Assassin’s Creed Odyssey had. In addition to this, Ubisoft also added Odyssey with new features, quests, and a host of other free content that not only strengthened the few premium expansions, but kept players busy in between.

In an era where many single-player games continue to release expansions and DLC, Odyssey had excellent support after the launch which garnered much praise. And so the fact that Valhalla will – presumably – have it all and more, have Assassin’s Creed fans excited. That being said, at the moment details about all this DLC are not available.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available via the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. For more coverage on it and all games – including all the latest news, rumors, reports and leaks – click here or check out the relevant links below:
