A new Assassin’s Creed It is understood that the next entry in the series shed light. Last November, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla released on PS5 and Xbox Series X along with latest generation consoles and computers. Although available on PS5 and Xbox Series X, it was by no means a proper next generation Assassin’s Creed games. According to rumors circulating over the past few months, the next installment in the series will be more like a proper next generation Assassin’s Creed experience.
The latest rumor about the following Assassin’s Creed game does not dive into any of these discussion points, but conveys the message that Ubisoft Sofia is at the helm of game development. For those who do not know: Ubisoft Sofia is not exactly one of Ubisoft’s leading studios, but it has led to the development of the Assassin credo series in the past across Assassin’s Creed Rogue and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation. As you may know, none of these games were very well received, especially compared to other entries in the franchise.
In addition, the rumor – that comes across Assassin’s Creed leaker j0nathan (via Reddit) – does not reveal much else, but it’s not the only rumor floating around. As noted, other rumors have been circulating recently, albeit from anonymous sources. That said, one downside between many of them is that it could be a smaller game, or in other words something more similar to Liberation and Sly rather than other entries such as Black Flag, Origin, of Odyssey. And it would make sense if Ubisoft Sofia is the main developer.
That said, it is important to remember that all of this information is very unofficial, and it should be taken with a grain of salt. At the time of publication, Ubisoft has not addressed any of the above information, and it probably will not happen, but if it does, we will secure the article with everything it says.
