New Animal Crossing New HorizonsNintendo Switch-themed controllers have been announced by the manufacturer Power A. More specifically, Power A has unveiled some new wired Switch and Switch Lite controllers inspired by Animal transition characters Tom Nook and Isabelle. As you would expect, the latter boasts a yellow design, while the former boasts a teal design. Despite the different designs, the controller pair is exactly the same hardware-wise, and both cost only $ 24.99. Pre-orders for the Tom Nook version are available here on Amazon. The Isabelle version is available here to pre-order.
As for the controllers themselves, apart from the fact that they are officially licensed, they both have a 3.5mm audio connector, cardable buttons and a ‘standard ergonomic layout’. In addition, there is also a detachable 10 foot USB cable with a Velcro strap attached which Power A says for easy storage and less clutter.
Unfortunately, if you prefer wireless controllers, there is no wireless variant. However, there is a two-year warranty from the hardware manufacturer.
