Before its introduction Crespo led the implementation of an electricity cogeneration system, this project – at the Hospital of the Concepción as the first institution of Puerto Rico to become independent of the Minister of Electricity, also as Director of Administration Director of Facilities at the hospital.

The new Administrator of the Hospital of the Conception has a title in Electrical Engineering of the University of Puerto Rico in Mayagüez and a Master in Administration of Health Services of the School of Medicine at the University of Puerto Rico.
The Hospital de la Concepción has a faculty of more than 150 physicians and 500 years of clinical history.
