Nevada Republican Party votes to disregard GOP Secretary of State

The Republican Central Committee in Nevada on Saturday voted to disrespect GOP Secretary Barbara Cegavske over allegations that she could not prevent the widespread voter fraud in the state during the 2020 presidential election.

The Independent in Nevada report that the committee voted 126-112 to reprimand Cegavske for allegations that she did not question the reliability of our election in Nevada.

According to a cover letter obtained by the outlet, censorship prohibits Cegavske from receiving party approvals and resources, while the committee refers to ‘the intense dishonor that brought her failures over the Republican Party in Nevada’.

The party claims to have brought four boxes of evidence that allegedly showed tens of thousands of examples of voter fraud in the 2020 election.

“The irresponsible messages from the Nevada Secretary of State, who claims that, without investigating, this election is flawless, are causing these attacks on our Republican Party in Nevada,” the cover letter reads.

Nevada also voted for the Democratic candidates in the 2016 and 2012 presidential elections.

Cegavske backed down in a statement to the Independent on Sunday on the premise of the party’s gloom.

“Unfortunately, members of my own political party decided to censor me simply because they were disappointed with the outcome of the 2020 election,” Cegavske said. “My job is to carry out the duties of my office as enacted by the Nevada legislature, not to carry water for the state government or put my thumb on the scale of democracy. Unfortunately, members of my own party believe still the 2020 general election was rigged – and that I participated in it in some way – despite a complete lack of evidence to support the faith. “

“Regardless of the censorship of the Republic of the Republic of today, I will continue my efforts to oversee safe elections in Nevada and to restore confidence in our election. The trust that has been destroyed by those who falsely claims that the general election in 2020 is widespread fraud, ”she added.

The Supreme Court of Nevada unanimously voted to approve Biden’s victory there in accordance with state law after meeting with Cegavske.
