Greer Grammer gained notoriety as the star of Netflix’s sexy new thriller Deadly Illusions, but confused viewers knocked out the film, calling it the ‘worst’ thing they’ve ever seen.
The 29-year-old, the daughter of Kelsey Grammer and Barrie Buckner, plays Grace, a seemingly innocent babysitter hired by Mary (Kristin Davis), a best-selling novelist who suffers from the writers’ block, and her husband Tom (Dermot Mulroney )).
The film has dominated Netflix’s Top 10 hit lists since it went live last week, and after rapidly rising in the ranks, it is now the number one film on the streaming platform.
However, due to the conspiracy and the free sex scenes, some viewers take to Twitter to call it a waste of time and maintain that the film is better suited for Lifetime than Netflix.

Although there were a number of harsh reviews from viewers, there were some people who were just stunned by the psychological thriller. They admitted that they are not even quite sure what happened at the end of the film.
“Just watch Deadly Illusions on Netflix, and all I can say is what the hell was going on,” one Twitter user said.

“Based on my friend’s recommendation, I’m watching the best horrible movie ever on Netflix: Lethal ILLUSIONS with Kristin Davis, a former dry actor and Greer Grammer,” said one person. “What kind of employer does her baby-baby-bra shop?”
‘I just watched Deadly Illusions and of course immediately jumped in with questions. The consensus online seems to be that it’s bad? someone else wrote. “I enjoyed it while watching it, but it definitely left me confused.”
Greer, who graduated from the University of Southern California, followed in her famous father’s footsteps with her first role in iCarly on screen in 2010. Prior to Deadly Illusions, she was best known for her portrayal of Lissa Miller in MTV’s series Awkward.
The actress stepped out of her comfort zone to play the role of Grace, which included dark and intimate scenes with her costume.
However, there were fans who enjoyed the movie and actually enjoyed how bad they think it was.

“I loved the idea of doing it and pushing myself further, because I loved it and always wanted to be taken a little more seriously,” she told KGET. ‘But I think there were moments on the set where I was,’ Whoa. I actually have to do it. ‘
“It’s different to read it in a text and see it through someone else’s eyes,” she explained. “When I filmed it, I was on board to do it, but it was just so different from what I did before.”
Greer praised her co-star, Kristin, 56, for making her feel comfortable on the set and showing her how to keep in mind her boundaries during the filming of sex scenes.
“I felt so safe in all the scenarios and everyone felt so comfortable with everything we portrayed,” she said.
‘For so many reasons Kristin is amazing, but she’s been in the program called Sex in the City for years. So she is not a beginner to sexual scenes or sex in movies and how to take it where I was a lot. ‘
She added: “Kristin was really good at being comfortable, but also very firm in what she was going to do, which made it very easy for me to have my boundaries as well.”
