Netflix’s Love, Death & Robots Season 2 gets a fancy preview

A second season of Love, death and robots, Netflix’s animated anthology series for adults, hits the streaming service in May. The first season, produced by Tim Miller (Dead pool) and David Fincher (Alien 3), consists of 18 short films, ranging from five to 20 minutes long, and covers a wide range of topics from farmers in mechanisms that combat the intrusion of aliens into sentimental dairies taking over the world.

Netflix promised edgy, adult vibes for “confused adults” in the run-up to the first season, and although some of the shorts yielded the free sex and violence, Love Death & Robots actually presents some gripping science fiction stories. Of course, there are enough breasts and blood to entertain the excited adults, but the strongest parts of the first season questioned other elements with more depth.

If the trailer for this season is an indication, Love, death and robots can continue this trend to deliver the hard NSFW elements with a bit of thought-provoking science fiction for those who are not as “mature and confused” as the target audience.

Season 2 of Love, death and robots arrives on Netflix on May 14th. Season 3 is on its way for 2022.
