Netflix joins Mario’s Doomsday Celebrations, and will air Super Mario Bros. Removed on March 31

We want to remind you, but it’s already March, and that means Nintendo will be launching a number of Mario products by the end of the month. This includes Super Mario 3D All-Stars and Super Mario Bros. 35 on Switch, the original Super Mario Maker online services are closed and the new Super Mario Game & Watch system can no longer be purchased.

If you thought it was all one big joke, no – it looks like Mario’s days were numbered on March 31st. To top it all off, Netflix has now revealed The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 cartoon series will be retrieved from its streaming service. The last date to look at it will be … you guessed it, March 31, 2021.

It turns out that this is probably because The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. is now available on Paramount Plus. The Netflix removal date of March 31st is surely just an unfortunate timing.

Although it seems to have been worked out, Nintendo still did not provide any reasoning as to why it released games such as Super Mario 3D All-Stars and Super Mario Bros. 35 on the same date from the Switch eShop.

Although it’s just a guess, it seems that the giant of the video game would rather go on The legend of Zelda 35th anniversary celebrations. Link’s anniversary begins in July when Skyward Sword HD land on Switch. Nintendo is expected to make more Zelda announcements in the second half of 2021.
