NBA Twitter responds to Steph Curry’s trick shot after buzz against Magic

To name Steph Curry’s recent piece impressively would be an understatement.

Prior to Thursday’s game in San Francisco, the two-time Most Valuable player was a scorching 37.4 points on 57.5% shot off the field during five games. Curry caught fire from outside the arc during that team and hit 6.4 tries per game, while 50% shot from outside the arc.

Against the Orlando Magic in Chase Center, the six-time All-Star got right where he left off. Curry fueled the Magic for 40 points on 14-of-26 shooting from the field with eight boards, five assistants and four steals in 37 minutes. The Golden State point guard stayed warm at long range, scoring three points on 19 attempts.

Although it did not count, Curry put off his 40-point effort with a shot. After the final buzz sounded to clinch Golden State’s 111-105 victory over Orlando, Curry shot a strong arc from behind the 3-point line that swung through the bottom of the net.
