The second fan for the NBA All-Star poll was announced Thursday morning.
And to no one’s surprise, Steph Curry (4,033,050 votes) is still number 1 among all guards and third overall behind LeBron James (4,369,533) and Kevin Durant (4,234,433).
But there was one result we would not expect.
Klay Thompson – who has been out with a torn Judge Achilles tendon all season – has moved up to number 8 among the Western Conference guards after tipping in at number 10 last week.
This is another sign of how much the “Splash Brother” is loved among Warriors fans and the basketball world in general.
As for Curry, he has averaged 34.6 points, 5.4 assists and 5.1 rebounds over his last seven games, while shooting 57.3% overall, 52.4% from deep and 94.6% of the free throw line.

The All-Star Game will be held on March 7 in Atlanta.
