After the Florida Department of Health in Nassau County received a “very limited” supply of the Modern COVID-19, the country announced a plan to distribute the vaccine.
Greg Foster, director of emergency management in Nassau County, said Sunday that the country will begin a ticket process through Eventbrite on Monday, enabling people to get a ticket online and get directions via email on how to appointment can plan and where to.
According to Foster, the province has decided to continue with this process in an effort to avoid problems with phone lines or sites, and to prevent residents from having to camp overnight. This was the case in St. Johns County when the country operated on a first-come-first-served basis.
Foster said healthcare workers with direct contact with patients, who have not received a vaccine through their employers, and those 65 and older, can visit www.OneNassau.com, finding the “COVID VACCINE” button and follow the directions there to start the appointment.
The province’s health department will explain to those who receive shots how and when they will receive their second shot.

According to Foster, inventories are expected to increase over the next few weeks, but may still be limited.
‘We have received fewer doses than some provinces, and we have focused on vaccinating those who are most vulnerable in our community, and the most needy, as soon as possible. “Now we can start complying with the guidelines set by the Governor and start the process of providing vaccines to residents over the age of 65,” Foster said. “For now, it’s a slow process, but we’re working hard to vaccinate everyone.”
The state Department of Health, according to emergency management officials, has already begun delivering vaccines to medical staff and other health care staff in Nassau County.
