The DMR-14 dominates Warzone and quickly establishes itself as the most powerful weapon in the game. However, Kristopher ‘FaZe Swagg’ Lamberson may have found an alternative rifle that statistically does more damage than the DMR.
Warzone’s season 1 update was released in just under two weeks and players finally realized which Black Ops weapons are the strongest during the Cold War.
One Black Ops Cold War rifle that is gaining some reputation in Warzone is the DMR-14. The weapon has an insane amount of damage and is accurate with the Axial Arms 3x optics. This led to many Warzone players making the DMR as a default solution and calling it the most overwhelming gun in the game.
Well, FaZe Swagg claimed to have found another Warzone weapon that is ‘like the DMR-14, but much better’.
FaZe Swagg unveils a better alternative to DMR-14
In his latest YouTube video, FaZe Swagg revealed that he has found another Warzone weapon that is better than the DMR-14. Although it is a bold claim, he backs it up with a 31-kill game and even offers a full charge for the weapon.
The rifle itself is the Type 63, another tactical rifle added with the integration of Black Ops Cold War in Warzone. Swagg claims that the weapon is significantly stronger than the DMR: “it literally kills faster than the DMR … it’s nut, you have to see it. If you do not believe me, then try the gun.”

As Swagg says in the video, the Type 63 has faster time to kill with shots on the body compared to the DMR. This probably makes the weapon more consistent in short- to medium-range gunfights. It is noteworthy, however, that the DMR performs better at longer distances and inflicts more damage to headshots.
In the end, both weapons do different tasks very well. Instead of choosing between the two, it’s best to choose both in your arsenal.
