Although a large number of office workers still work remotely, we can go to TVs and movies about work to capture a sense of normalcy and reflect on the yesterdays of office life.
Apple TV Plus’ Mythic Quest, following a fictional game development studio working on its latest expansion, invites us to remember the small details of work. The first trailer for the second season is full of meetings in rooms with glass panels, punchings with team building and … paperwork! Snoop Dogg is there too, because he is natural. It’s all fun and games until the deadlines start to approach and the team has to work under pressure.
The first season of Mythic Quest (subtitles Raven’s Banquet) premiere in February 2020. It plays the lead role It’s always sunny in Philadelphia‘s Rob McElhenney as Creative Director of Mythic Quest Studios, with Ashly Burch, Danny Pudi, Imani Hakim, Charlotte Nicdao and F. Murray Abraham.
Mythic Quest returns to Apple TV Plus on May 17th.
