Dominion Voting Systems can sue Mike Lindell, CEO of MyPillow, over his ongoing allegations that the voting machine supplier swore in the presidential election in November in favor of President Joe Biden.
“Mike Lindell is begging to be sued, and at some point we can oblige him,” Dominion spokesman Michael Steel said Sunday during an appearance on CNN’s “Reliable Sources.”
The bedding businessman, a longtime ally of former President Donald Trump, went on to claim that the former president’s election was stolen and handed over to Biden, even though right-wing media has largely reversed the course.
Fox News, One America News Network (OAN) and Newsmax have withdrawn from promoting unsubstantiated conspiracy theories that Dominion and a rival company, Smartmatic, have illegally intervened to attract votes to Biden as the systems enterprises become increasingly litigious.
Lindell, meanwhile, went full steam ahead and aired a three-hour-long film on OAN on Friday that sparked a variety of election fraud conspiracies.
“This latest quote-quoting documentary he aired is nothing but the same old half-baked conspiracy theories that have been repackaged – and the truth catches up with him,” Steel told CNN.

While the two voting machine companies started a list of defamation cases against media and individuals spreading conspiracy theories about the election, OAN went to great lengths to dispel the film’s allegations. It issued a 90-second indemnity release stating, “Mr. Lindell is the sole author and executive producer of this program and is solely responsible for its content.” The indemnity also said that OAN did not endorse any statements about the ruling or Smartmatic.
Newsmax slammed Lindell’s microphone during an appearance this week after he began claiming he had “100% proven” that Dominion was engaging in voter fraud. The anchor rejects the false claims and launches.
This week, Smartmatic filed a defamation suit against Fox News, some of its anchors, and members of Trump’s legal team to claim $ 2.7 billion in damages.
Dominion recently filed a defamation suit against Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani to demand a striking $ 1.3 billion in damages. The company claims that the sale of Giuliani’s allegations that Dominion’s voting machines are inaccurate could lose hundreds of millions in government contracts.
The complex conspiracy theory that Dominion claims in a widespread scheme for fraudulent voters claims, among other things, that the firm’s parent company was founded by the governments of the Venezuelan government to steal elections.
In fact, Dominion is a Canadian company, and independent audits have found the voting machines to be reliable and accurate.
