Police say 20-year-old Davis L. Josephus is charged with the murder of 25-year-old Milan Loncar. According to police, a second man of interest has been identified.
Loncar was walking with his dog just a block from his home when he approached two suspects during a robbery attempt Wednesday night at 31 and Jefferson Street in downtown Brewerytown.

The video shows the two suspects trying to rob Loncar before he was shot in the chest. Loncar later died at the hospital.
In court documents, it appears that Josephus was recently released on bail related to another crime. Arrest records show he has a history of robbery, kidnapping and gun charges.
Action News spoke to Loncar’s mother, Amy Lounsberry, who says she was shaking when she heard the news about the arrests that arrested her son’s murder. She says she wants justice and answers.
Through singing and the glow of cellphones, the family and friends of Loncar illuminated his portrait on Friday during a vigil in honor of him.
“He was my soulmate, and I do not think I have a plan without him anymore,” said Loncar’s friend Olivia Gorski.
The couple would move in together next month and start their lives together.
Loncar’s mother and sister, Jelena Loncar, also spoke about the stolen life.

“You took so much from us. You hurt the environment,” Lounsberry said.
“It’s not just one life,” Jelena added.
Loncar, who has just graduated from Temple University, is remembered as a friendly and gentle man who loved his family, friends and dog, Roo, who never left his side after the shooting.
