Fort Worth police blame the I-35 accident for the weather – icy rain has caused slippery roads in the Fort Worth area.

The crash scene covers about 2.4 kilometers, reports ABC Dallas subsidiary WFAA.

“Expect long delays,” police warned in a tweet. “There is backing from I30 to 820 in both directions.”

“If you are involved in a minor accident with no injuries, please exchange information and proceed. You can then notify your insurance when you arrive at your destination,” police tweeted.
