(CNN) – Captain Tom Moore, veteran of the Second World War who raised millions for a British charitable organization that supported the National Health Service by sending people to his garden 100 years ago, murmured, shouting at PA Media in a communiqué.
His official Twitter account shared the news with an image of Moore, and the 1920-2021 events.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved father, Captain Sir Tom Moore,” said Hannah Ingram-Moore and Lucy Teixeira of PA Media.

Moore has been hospitalized with covid and neumonia, said his wife Hannah on Twitter the domingo.
Moore was named a cavalryman by Queen Isabel II in July when he was able to raise 33 million books (US $ 40 million at the moment).
Moore was taken to hospital on Sunday for respiratory problems, he said at the time.
