New year, new games, bay! It’s going to be an interesting year as we see the Playstation 4 and Xbox One disappear into the sunset, and hopefully the new generation will become prominent. There are not incredibly many next generations (current generations?) At the moment, but it looks like in 2021 to fix it with some potential bottlenecks.

Just because I do not have a PS5 yet does not mean that I can not hype about games I may or may not play, provides console availability!

Halo: Infinite

I have to precede this by saying that while I am predicting this game, it is more cautious: ‘Boy, I really hope this game does not suck’. I loved the Halo series from an early age. It was in many ways the series I grew up with. What Mario and all that 16-bit bang meant for the generation before me is how I feel about it Hello. It introduced me to first person shooters, military sci-fi and online gaming. These are all things I still love today.

So you can imagine that I felt a way then Halo 5: Guardians just upright not hit. This is the only Halo game I have not played through throughout. I know I do not think about it alone Halo 5 had essentially no endurance at release.

I hope Never ending rights on the ship and place a little respect on the Halo name. Given the game’s long-term development, overwhelming performance during last summer’s Xbox Series X event, and this yeara long delay resulting from the display seems slightly infallible if the game will do so. Why is it on my list, given all the problems and reservations?

Well, also fucking love Hello, you all.

The possibility of a good Halo game will always be something I expect. As this is the 20th year of the franchise’s existence, I’m also rooting for the team at 343 Industries to pick up and deliver a good space shooter.

GTA VI …just confused, we know it never comes out. Do you know what game is likely to be?

Final Fantasy XVI

If you read any of the game articles about The root, then this entry really shouldn’t come as a surprise.

What can I say? I’m an anime trash can, and I own the shit. Not much has been announced about what kind of games Final Fantasy XVI is it, but if I were a gambler, I would say it looks like the third Massively Multiplayer Online game in the franchise, which follows VF XI and FF XIV: A birth of an empire (If anyone’s commenting on ‘Well, actually Final Fantasy XIV was technically the second- ”over all holy I will slap the shit you. We do not recognize the game in this space.)

The trailer released during last summer’s PS5 event promised a great email with an art style reminiscent of FF XIV: A birth of an empire, and the game even shares the same director. A cursory glance at the game’s official website also gives the idea that the game will be an MMO with multiple factions.

While I enjoyed what I was playing FF XIV: A birth of an empire, there was just so much content that by the time I could play it, I felt like I could never keep up. Whether it’s an MMO, or a straightpredictive role play, I look forward to diving into the world of Valisthea later this year.

Deathloop

When I saw the trailer for this game, I knew I was in. It basically contains everything I ask in a game. Unique game mechanics? Cheque. An art style that grabs your attention and does not let go? Cheque. A developer with a record of making bangers? Check, watch and watch. O, and does it have a black protagonist? Shietttt, nigga, you do not have to tell me twice.

Deathloop cast you as a hitman who finds himself trapped in a time loop on a mysterious island. You must kill eight targets in the course of a loop, otherwise the loop will be restored. The game also has a multiplayer component that puts another player in charge of an assassin who wants to protect the loop and is assigned to kill you to prevent the player from breaking it.

Developer Arkane Studios has been doing this for the past few years with Prey and the Disgrace series, so I’m very curious to see where they go next with this title.

Even though it’s only three games, the list goes on. Honorable mentions go out to Horizon: Forbidden West, No More Heroes III, and Shin Megami Tensei 5. Are there games you’re looking forward to that I missed? Drop them below! Provided it is not delayed, it looks like 2021 may have a bang on hand—and I can not wait for now.
