Mortal Kombat and fans of injustice are sent into speculative madness following the tweet from the NRS developer

A new tweet from a developer of NetherRealm Studios has Mortal Kombat and Unjust fans who go crazy with speculation. Since it was released Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate back in November, NetherRealm Studios was silent. In place of this silence, there were rumors and ‘leaks’ indicating that more DLC characters would be coming to the above game this year, but these are now just rumors and leaks. Meanwhile, there is reason to believe Wrong 3 will be announced (and released soon). In other words, hype is building, and recently, the game’s senior animator, Andy Senesac unleashed this hype with a new tantalizing Twitter post.

Senesac reveals that he and the team are back in the motion recording studio to dust off the equipment after the pandemic kept them away from the studio for months. To that he adds #WhatsInStore, followed by a thinking emoji. The combination of these two things, of course, sent both Unjust and Mortal Kombat fans in a rabbit hole from speculation.

Clearly, Senesac is teasing something here, but there is no hint of what he is teasing. Some Mortal Kombat fans pointed out that Senesac is a Mortal Kombat shirt, which in turn indicates that it is MK related, but it’s a pretty big piece.

Of course, it is quite possible that it is not one for injustice 3 or Mortal Kombat 11 DLC characters, but something less exciting like Mortal Kombat 11 filmvelle.

Unfortunately we are currently in the same boat as Mortal Kombat and Unjust fans, which means we have nothing more than speculations.

If Senesac, NetherRealm Studios, WB Games or anyone else associated with the above franchises provide more teasing or information, we will update the story accordingly. In the meantime, feel free to leave a comment to let us know what you think, or, alternatively, hit me up on Twitter @Tyler_Fischer_ to talk all things Mortal Kombat, Unjust, and play. What do you think is being teased here?

H / T, Dynasty.
