Dog fashion has become my driving force
Monster Hunter Rise is now a video game about making the most beautiful armor for my Palamute.
Forget my slingshot, forget the grind, forget the thrill of hunting with strangers – my dog needs to look fresh. Only one problem: there are too many good choices and I will never worry about a single glance. Eventually I overcame the analytical paralysis with my Palico in World, but it will be even harder.
A Palamute Armor round up appeared on my Twitter feed this week, and I could not shake it. Capcom posted a similar summary last November – it did not wow me. This gear, on the other hand …

Like many of you, I managed to play the demo even though I was pretty sure I will enjoy this game so much. I like Stand upThe whole atmosphere more than expected comes from the big and brave Ysgedra, which runs better for me and loads faster than ever now that I’ve transferred it to PlayStation 5. There’s definitely an adjustment period – Capcom had to compromise on Switch – but I could not adjust it during the demo, and that potential worries no longer sit in the back of my mind.
Instead, my head is completely filled with these Palamute sets, to say nothing of crossovers that Capcom can and should create. I did not expect a Palamute to wear a tie, but if that is the starting point, you can imagine where things can go next. There are still many samples to confirm before Stand up.
I will constantly make every last one of these animals cruel to my pooch. This is the real endgame.
