
(CNN) – Alexi Laiho, leader of the Finnish metal band Children of Bodom and the supergroup Bodom After Midnight, failed, confirming his discographic note. For 41 years, he has been a CNN presenter.
“It is a great pity and sadness that we are announcing the failure of Alexi Laiho”, was announced in a statement issued by Napalm Records, in the name of Bodom After Midnight.

“We are absolutely devastated and discouraged by the loss of our beloved friend and member of the band”, added the statement, signed by the band partners Daniel, Mitja and Waltteri.
A communiqué on the official Facebook page of Laiho says that the music was mourned at his home in Helsinki last week. Add to that the supremacy of health problems and long-term illness during their last years.

Laiho was the guitarist and vocalist of the metal band Children of Bodom, which was formed in 1993 with the number of IneartheD, it seems that the group played its last concert in 2019.
