Test
1,965,485 people were tested for COVID-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 7,331 new tests.
The running average of seven-day positive cases is now 1,794, or about 19.4% of those tested.
Hospitalizations
461 people are currently hospitalized. Since the onset of the pandemic, 13,016 people have been admitted to hospital.
Deaths
Thirteen new deaths have been reported, including four that occurred in 2020. The office of the medical examiner conducts thorough investigations into all possible COVID-related deaths. It may take a few weeks to complete these investigations. The recently reported deaths include:

- Male, between 25-44, resident of Utah County, resident for long-term care
- Man, aged 65-84, Utah County resident, hospitalized at death
- Female, over 85, Utah County resident, long-term care resident
- Man, aged 65-84, Utah County resident, hospitalized at death
- Man, aged 65-84, Utah County resident, hospitalized at death
- Female, 65-84, Washington County resident, long-term care resident
- Female, over 85 years old, resident of Washington County, not admitted to hospital at death
