More: Paul Simon sells his song catalog

Paul Simon is the most recent musical idol to sell his rich songbook. Sony Music Publishing has been announcing this week that it has acquired this catalog, which has been available since its era in Simon & Garfunkel’s career as a soloist. The financial details of the agreement will not be revealed.

Bob Dylan and Shakira recently sold their complete catalogs, while Stevie Nicks sold the mayor’s party to Neyo and Neil Young 50%.
