More COVID vaccine appointments in Riverside County are available Thursday afternoon

Riverside County has made more COVID vaccine appointments.

Registration is available Thursday (January 21) at 12 noon for six upcoming COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Elsinore Lake, Perris and Indio.

You can register at ruhealth.org/covid-19- vaccination. If you or someone you know needs further assistance, you can call the County hotline at 2-1-1.

NEW CLINICS:

  • January 22 and 23
    • Diamond Stadium located at Diamond Drive 500, Lake Elsinore, CA
    • The 22 January clinic is only for 65 and older (appointment still required)
  • January 23 and 24
    • Indio Fairgrounds in the Fullenwider Auditorium located at 46350 Arabia Street, Indio
  • January 24 and 25
    • Perris Fairgrounds, 18700 Lake Perris Drive, Perris
    • The January 25 clinic is for 65 and older only (appointment still required)

All clinics are open from 08:30 to 16:00

In Riverside County, people 65 and older can get their coronavirus vaccine, along with adults of all ages if they work in education, law enforcement, food and agriculture and emergency services.

The group forms phase 1B in the country’s vaccine distribution framework. People in all levels of phase 1A can also be vaccinated.

  • For Phase 1A and 1B Employees – Level 1, need an appointment and employee ID badge / letter from the place of service, or you will not be vaccinated
  • For 65 years and older, an appointment and ID are required.

The clinics offer free vaccines, but medical insurance information is requested.
