Monique Samuels does not blame Andy Cohen for her retirement RHOP. While users on social media explode Cohen for appearing with Candiace Dillard in the fight between her and Samuels, Samuels does not share the same sentiments.

During the two and three of the reunion, Cohen samuels and Dillard roasted about what led to their quarrel. He allowed each woman to tell their own version of events.
In one segment, Samuels accuses Dillard of initiating physical contact by placing her hand in Samuels’ face. Cohen denies that this happened despite a cut from the production that confirms Samuels’ report.

Cohen also accused Samuels of missing emotions about the incident and told her, “You are very matter-of-fact and dry about the whole matter,” Cohen said. “Here we are, you have been thinking about this reunion for a year, you are face to face for the first time in a year. I find it strange that you are very emotional about it. ‘
Cohen was also unhappy with the release of her rap single “Drag Queens” from Samuels, which refers to her battle with Dillard. Samuels defends her release of the song and explains that it was part of her healing process. Cohen believes this eases the situation and contributes to Dillard’s trauma.

Social media users have accused Cohen of being biased in his interrogation against Samuels. They especially do not like him mentioning Samuels as non-emotional and stoic in her retelling of events.
Other media also shared the same sentiments. During an interview with All About The Tea, Samuels came to Cohen’s defense, saying that he simply did his job, but admits that she wishes Dillard was kept to the same standard.
“I think he did what he felt he had to do, he did not want people to think he was in any way out of shape and that he had to go in,” she said. “I would appreciate it if the same energy was shown in the other direction from people who need the same degree of treatment.”

Samuels also makes it clear that, despite her retirement from the show and her problems with editing parts of the reunion, she said she involved her co-stars in a plot to destroy her family, she does not blame Cohen. She still holds Cohen in high esteem.
“I’ve never had a problem with Andy,” Monique said. ‘We send an SMS, he loves T’Challa, I sent him a bunch of babysitters, I got my holiday gift from him and I sent him an SMS and thanked him for it. So we have no problems. ”
