Modern COVID vaccine causes swelling, inflammation in patients with cosmetic face fillers

The FDA advisory committee reviewing the new Moderna vaccine noted that a specific side effect is involved in several trial participants who have cosmetic face fillers.

Local council certified dermatologist Dr Shirley Chi explains what the FDA committee has noted.

“In these cases, the patients all had swelling and inflammation in the area where the filler was administered. Some of the patients had a cheek filler six months before their vaccination, and one patient made a lip filler two days after the vaccination. with steroids and antihistamines and all their reactions have been resolved, ‘she said.

Millions of people have given a doctor cosmetic face fillers to smooth fine lines, wrinkles and improve cheeks and lips. Chi says the response to the vaccine is immunological.

“Your immune system that causes inflammation is worked up when you get a vaccine. This is how it should work. So it makes sense that you will see an immune response in certain areas where they see some substance that does not have a natural appearance. is not your body, ”says Chi.

Chi also says that it may not prevent you from getting the vaccine when it is your turn and that all the derma fillers can be easily treated by medical staff.
