On January 15, the rapper / songwriter / producer shared a moment behind the scenes in which she touches a bit. Renowned hairstylist Kellon Deryck is the artist responsible for the sleek, light purple purple look. Deryck has also worked with stars such as Megan Thee Stallion, Teyana Taylor and the City Girls.
Missy ripped the angry cut for her cameo in the new video, ATM, from Bree Runway. She flowed in and out of accents like just her, and Deryck remarked that every time she changed her voice, she also changed her hair. Of course, this is not the first time she’s made us a shortcut we all want to recreate – who can forget the iconic finger waves Missy wore at the beginning of her career? She even brought them back in 2017 for a Halloween costume that paid homage to her memorable style.
