Boyd and Stephanie Householder are facing more than 100 charges of sexual, physical and emotional abuse that allegedly took place at their faith-based boarding school in Missouri.

Officials have charged Boyd Householder with 80 counts, including several counts of legal rape and second-degree sodomy. The charges against his wife range from abuse to the welfare of a child.

“With 16 victims so far, we believe this is one of the most common cases of sexual, physical, and mental abuse of young girls and women in Missouri history,” said Eric Schmitt, Attorney General of Missouri. “As the father of two young girls, it’s simply unthinkable to me.”

Since 2006, the Circle of Hope Girls Ranch in Cedar County has owned and operated a Christian school that they believe could reform rebellious teens.

Authorities removed all the girls from the facility last year and the facility has since been closed. Several of the girls have since described their alleged abuse on social media.

The daughter of the Housemates, Amanda, said she believes the victims.

“I still get messages from random girls I don’t even know, and they tell me the same thing,” she said. “I believe them.”

In a recent interview with the Kansas City Star, the Homeowners described the allegations against them as ‘all lies’ and called their accused ‘angry’ and ‘bitter’.

The farm closed in September.
