Missouri girl (11) finds parents dead in COVID-19 bed

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A grim discovery for an 11-year-old girl from Missouri.

As KSKK reports, she found both her parents dead in their COVID-19 bed on Thursday morning.

“It really is a terrible, tragic thing,” said neighbor Chuck Duy.

According to police in St. Louis County were both in their forties and died of COVID-19.

Duy said he spoke to a family member about the couple’s deaths.

“She tested positive, but they sent her home and then her husband was in the meantime with a positive test for COVID, so both were quarantined,” Duy said.

According to Duy, the couple stayed in the basement downstairs in their bedroom.

The girl was the couple’s only child.

“Losing both parents at once to what you know for an 11-year-old is really tragic,” Duy said. ‘We pray for them, they were the nice people. We are so happy that they moved into the neighborhood. ‘

Authorities said there was no reason to believe there was foul play involved.

It turns out that both deaths were due to the coronavirus.
