Paramount Plus, a remake and extension of CBS All Access, is set to get a big shot in the arm ahead of the March 4 launch. According to Variety, blockbuster movies Mission: Impossible 7 and the long delayed A Quiet Place, Part II will be available on the platform 45 days after the theatrical release.

The announcement was made during ViacomCBS ‘investor day, which was specifically aimed at boosting the new streaming service. According to the trade, Paramount Plus has also adapted its pay-TV output agreement with Epix to offer more than 2,500 movies for subscribers in addition to newer versions.

Before the pandemic, a 90-day theatrical performance was mandated for films before the studios could release it on a home video. Everything has changed now and the studios are changing this previous arrangement. Warner Bros. was the first through the gate when he decided to release the entire 2021 library of movies on HBO Max on the same day as their theatrical release.
