Mike Evans, wide receiver of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, set an NFL record in receiving yards, but shortly after hitting the point, he left the game against the Atlanta Falcons with a non-contact knee injury.
Evans was found to have slipped and fallen on the lawn.

Evans breaks Randy Moss’ record with seven consecutive 1,000 receiving farms. He caught three yards for 46 yards before being helped off the field with an apparent knee injury. He competed in the game after playing in each of Tampa Bay’s 15 games and with 67 catches for 960 yards.
Since being drafted by the Buccaneers in 2014, Evans has been a machine. He received more than 1,000 yards, but he never had more than 100 catches in one season. He had a career-high 13 strokes before leaving Sunday’s game with a knee injury.

“I think it’s important to him and us,” Buccaneers coordinator Byron Leftwich said offensively via the team’s website. “I think it’s really important for this organization to have it. It’s a unique thing. You can be one of one every time – all the special players, all the great players who have come through this league and what things did, played that position – and he has the opportunity to be one-on-one.It’s a unique thing.It just shows you how good a football player he is, and it’s special.Of course you want “He needs to be able to do that. We’re not going to try to force it. We’re just going to let him play and let Mike be Mike and we’ll see.”
