Microsoft’s your phone gets feature to control your phone’s settings

Microsoft’s Your Phone app makes it easy to connect your Android device to your computer. It’s great for answering text messages, making and receiving calls, and more. And the experience is going to get even better, with a new feature that will add instrument indicators to control the phone settings.

According to ALumia, Microsoft is launching an update to the Your Phone app that allows users to enable and disable features on their phone, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Do Not Disturb. Previously, users could see if these features were active but could not communicate with them.

“This feature will soon be introduced by the Your Phone team, who have been working on the launch of the new feature called ‘Indicator management’ in recent months.” ALumia said. “How does it work? Once you receive this feature, the Your Phone app displays four new buttons below the image of your smartphone to enable or disable Bluetooth, ringtone / vibration, audio player (for music) and mode. do not simply bother with a click, without necessarily keeping your smartphone at hand. ”

The indicator feature is expected to be introduced to users gradually, so be on the lookout over the next few weeks. For those who do see it (v1.21012.195.0 +), your phone from your computer will be much easier.

Microsoft has brought a lot of useful features to the Your Phone app over the past few months. The app introduced the ability to run multiple Android apps on certain devices as early as November. Before that, another feature was tested that introduced a “send from phone” option for sharing links, images and notes.
