Microsoft has updated Windows 10 to resolve printer issues

On March 9, Microsoft released its regular Patch Tuesday set of operating system updates, but after rolling out Windows 10 users, they reported printing issues that included missing graphics and persistent blue screen of death bugs. An update to fix the BSOD issues was released on March 15, but now ZDNet and Bleeping Computer report that a second emergency patch is available to resolve the layout issues.

Microsoft’s comment indicates that you should only install the patch if the problem affects you. You will know if it hits your computer by the “unexpected results when you print from some programs or to some printers. Problems may include missing or solid color graphics, incorrect customization / formatting problems, or blank page / label printing.”

The only other problem? Many people, including you truly, have had difficulty installing the patch through Windows Update. If this includes you, and you need the solution to make sure all your graphs are printing in the right place, Bleeping Computer mentioned that you can download the patch here and install it manually.
