Third-party developers continue to release and announce new additions to Microsoft Flight Simulator, in addition to new images.
First, we get a release from three relevant airports in Mexico. Magsoft has launched Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla Guadalajara International Airport (MMGL), Monterrey International Airport (MMMY) and Aeropuerto Nacional Doctor Jorge Jiménez Cantu (MMJC) in Atizapan.
Currently, only Guadalahara is available for $ 17 plus applicable VAT on SimMarket. The other two are available for $ 17.36 and $ 7.48 on the developer’s own website, respectively.
Following is an announcement from NZA Simulations, which now operates at Christchurch Airport (NZCH) in New Zealand, the second busiest in the country.
We then get a new look at several airports in the works, starting with the Moscow Sheremetyevo Alexander S. Pushkin International Airport (UUEE)’s now completed terminal A by Drzewiecki Design.

Last but not least, we get a development update by IndiaFoxtEcho with new images of the F-35 Lightning II, M-346 and Sukhoi 31 aircraft.
‘We have a lot of exciting planes going on, but the next versions are the F-35 and the M-346. We also decided to promote the SU-31 to a full project due to the very positive feedback we received.
F-35 LIGHTNING II – The F-35A external model has been completed and we are working on the F-35B and F-35C. The external models have been refactored in some areas, all textures have been redone for MSFS and the main outer textures have been reset to 8K.
The cabin model is being rebuilt almost from scratch and it looks much better … but we are not ready to show it yet. MSFS native flight model is also underway.
The biggest problem of this project is the fact that the sensor suite is one of the most important elements of the real plane, and as far as we can see, features like ASR, TFLIR and DAS can not be simulated in MSFS … so it will be a cool plane to fly through the MSFS world and not much more. Estimated release July 2021.
M-346 MASTER – Work is also underway on the M-346 … and we are correcting a number of minor inaccuracies in the 3D models. Textures are also being redone from scratch and external textures are at 8K.
Estimated release October 2021.SUKHOI 31 – Due to the positive feedback we received, the project was promoted to full development, as opposed to an experimental / toy project. We do not currently have an estimated release date. ”
