Mick Jagger nails problem with anti-Vaxxers: ‘Rational thinking does not work’

Rock legend Mick Jagger on Tuesday released a surprising new single with Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters that falls into conspiracy theorists and anti-vaxxers.

In ‘Eazy Sleazy’, the Rolling Stones frontman said:

Shoot the vaccine
Bill Gates is in my bloodstream
This is mind control
The earth is flat and cold
It never warms up
The Arctic has turned into a veil
The Second Coming is late
There are strangers in the deep state

Jagger told Rolling Stone magazine that the verse is “a piss-take on conspiracy theories” and is ignited in anti-vaxxers as “irrational”.

‘Of course it makes no sense to talk about it with people. They do not get it, “he said. “They have what they believe in, and they believe in it. And no matter what you say, they will believe it. And rational thinking does not work. ”

Jagger noted that he himself had been vaccinated.

On his YouTube page, Jagger said he hopes the new song delivers a “much-needed optimism” while waiting for an end to the closures caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

He also wrote that Grohl plays guitar, drums and bass on the track:
